「廃止」合意のガソリン税暫定税率、1リットル当たり25・1円加算 本来は道路財源目的
自民、公明、国民民主3党が11日、ガソリン税に上乗せされている暫定税率の廃止で合意した。暫定税率は本来、全国の道路整備の財源不足に対応するために昭和49年に導入され、現在はガソリン1リットルあたり、本来のガソリン税28・7円に加え、25・1円の暫定税率が上乗せ徴収されている。
ガソリン税は、「揮発油税及び地方揮発油税」の総称で、昭和24年に1リットルあたり28・7円で定められた。49年に、当時の田中角栄政権が道路整備の財源不足に対応するため暫定税率を導入。2度のオイルショックなどを経て徴収額が2度引き上げられ、54年以降は25・1円が加算されるように
