こども家庭庁が結婚をテーマに行った調査で、未婚の人のおよそ7割が「結婚相手を見つけたくても、何をすればいいか分からない」「自分に自信がない」などと回答しました。
政府は相談事業の周知を図るなど、取り組みを強化することにしています。
こども家庭庁はことし7月、15歳から39歳の未婚の男女1万8000人と既婚の男女2000人の合わせて2万人を対象に、インターネットでアンケート調査を行いました。
この中で、未婚の人に、結婚相手を見つけることについてどのような意識があるか尋ねたところ「見つけたくても、具体的に何をすればいいか分からない」と答えた人が67％、「自分に自信がなく、何か行動したところで見つけられると思えない」と答えた人が66％に上りました。
同じ質問を既婚の人に、結婚する前の意識として尋ねたところ、それぞれ57％と49％で、いずれも10ポイント以上の差がありました。
